Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026
Draft: this page will be completed and legally reviewed before launch.
In short: the website uses no trackers and counts visits anonymously only. The app needs no account, and what you enter there stays on your phone.
1. Controller
The controller for data processing on this website and in the app is MidwifeGo (to be added). The address is in the legal notice. For privacy questions write to (to be added).
2. Visiting the website
When you open the website, our hosting provider processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the page and to fend off attacks (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
The website is operated at Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus.
3. Cookies
We set a single cookie that stores the language you chose (NEXT_LOCALE, one year). It is technically necessary. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies and embed no third-party content. The fonts are served from our own server.
To see how many people visit the site we count page views: one number per day and language. We store neither your IP address nor any identifier. The count cannot be traced back to you.
4. Waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we store your email address, the language of the page, whether you are a mother or a professional, and the time of your consent. We use the address only to tell you about the launch of MidwifeGo (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR).
So that nobody can enter someone else's address, we first send you an email with a confirmation link (double opt-in). Your entry only counts after you click it; we store the time of confirmation as proof. The emails are sent through the mailbox at our hosting provider.
You can withdraw your consent at any time: with the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to (to be added). We then delete your entry immediately, and at the latest after the app has launched.
5. The app
The app works without an account. Your due date, your contraction records and everything you enter are stored on your device only. We do not receive them and cannot see them.
When the app downloads new texts, it contacts our server. As with any request on the internet, your IP address is involved (see section 2). The request contains no information about you.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
7. Changes
If the app or the website changes, we will update this policy. The version on this page applies.
