Terms of use

Last updated: October 2026

Draft: this page will be completed and legally reviewed before launch.

These terms apply to the MidwifeGo website and app.

1. What MidwifeGo is

MidwifeGo provides general information about trying to conceive, pregnancy, birth, the postnatal period and the first year of life. The provider is MidwifeGo (to be added).

2. No medical advice

MidwifeGo does not replace personal care from a midwife or a visit to the doctor. The app makes no diagnosis and does not assess personal measurements.

If you are worried, contact your midwife, your practice or a hospital. In an emergency, call 112.

3. Content

All texts, images and graphics are protected by copyright. You may use them for yourself. Passing them on or publishing them requires our consent.

4. Free and paid content

Part of the app is permanently free, including the emergency section. Further content is offered as a subscription through the App Store or Google Play. The store shows you the price, term and how to cancel before you buy.

5. Availability and liability

We keep the content up to date with care, but cannot guarantee that it is complete and free of errors at all times. Our liability is unlimited for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body and health. Otherwise we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to foreseeable damage.

6. Law

German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country you live in remain unaffected.
